AI Robot-Driven Science Initiative (AIRDS)

The AI Robot-Driven Science Initiative is working to redefine the process of scientific research with AI and robots,
and to dramatically accelerate the advancement of science.

To achieve this, we undertake multifaceted initiatives including community-building activities such as symposia and workshops,
subcommittee activities on device connectivity, metascience, and benchmark dataset development with an eye toward standardization,
and policy advocacy to further promote this field.

Through these activities, we realize co-creation within an international research network that transcends disciplinary and organizational boundaries,
while respecting scientists' intellectual curiosity and pursuing the ideal form of science and technology that contributes to people's prosperity.
